Kotatsu's

Kotatsu's are a low, wooden table used in Japan and are often seen in Anime. They are used to warm you up in the winter and are used for relaxing. While Kotatsu's can look boring, you can also buy Kawaii ones like the one above. You can buy Kotatsu covers from a variety of places for example, here. You can also find them on eBay (However the covers do cost a lot!)

Kigurumi's

While some people don't like the idea of Kigurumi's, they do help keep you warm. As well as keeping you warm and cute, they are also comfy. Storenvy and eBay are good places to look for them! However they can be a little awkward when you need to pee!

Kawaii slippers
Keep your feet cute and warm with Kawaii character slippers. All sorts of animals can be bought as slippers. You can even get character slippers from series such as Studio Ghibli, Sailor Moon and more. Click here to see the Alpaca slippers above.

Gyaru room wear
Gyaru brands such as Dream V have made room wear perfect for Princesses. The designs are both cute, conformable for lazy days and are for a good price.

Next month houses with be filled with tinsel, trees, wrapping paper and fresh baking. With all the festive jolly of Christmas, there are a few ways to make your Christmas more Kawaii.

Kawaii Christmas tree!

There are a few simple ways to decorate your Christmas tree in a cuter way! Buying Fairy lights/Christmas lights in pink is a easy and cheap way to do this. Christmas lights are available from a variety of places from eBay to even the Pound shop on the UK high street. If you have figures such as My little ponys or Carebears on a keychain, you can hang them on the branches of your tree. eBay also has Kawaii christmas tree decorations such as the picture to the right where you can buy them here. Buying pastel tinsel is also an easy way to add more effect to your christmas tree. You can also find Kawaii tinsels such as this hello Kitty tinsel.

Decorate your house with Kawaii Christmas plushies

You can never have too many plushies and with Christmas coming up, its a perfect excuse to use them Christmas themed plushies for decoration. You can buy the Olaf plushie to the left on ebay for a low price (It depends on the size you want) Arpakasso's are also avaliable with christmas or winter adds which would be perfect to create a Kawaii christmas feel. Decorate your house with snowflakes

Snowflakes are a cheap but cute way to decorate your house. If your feeling creative you can make them out of pastel pieces of paper such as plain pink or if you want to adventure more, try making them out of Kawaii paper which feature your favorite characters such as Rilakkuma or Hello Kitty. You can find a lot on eBay under "Kawaii paper"If you don't feel like making them yourself, you can also buy plain ones from eBay.

Kawaii wrapping paper

Another way to add Kawaii to your house this Christmas is to wrap your presents in Kawaii wrapping paper. Not only will it be likely to make your friends and family happy with special wrapping paper

Choice a Kawaii advent calendar

Advent calenders are a common sight this time of the year however besides the chocolate buttons, you can also get ones with a Kawaii picture on the front.

From UK high street stores such as Pound Land or even Morison's, you can buy Hello Kitty or Frozen Advent calenders which will add a Kawaii touch to your house.

You can also buy a MLP advent calender from Amazon which features toys from the toyline.

Fairy Kei In Winter - Style Tips

It's November and the weather is starting to get colder.

This time of the year people may want to just keep warm instead of Kawaii with layers of coats, boots, scarfs and mundane clothes.

However you can still dress up cute, you can still look Kawaii while trying to keep warm.

In this article will be some tips for wearing Fairy Kei in Winter.

What is Fairy Kei?

Fairy Kei ("Fairy Fashion") is a Japanese Street fashion made out of pastel colours (Although dark colours can still be used). More and more people oversea's have started wearing the style, and it has quickly become the most popular kawaii style, after lolita.

The style is easily confused with similair styles such as Pop Kei or Decora. To find out more about Fairy Kei, click here to read our All About post!

Now onto the keep warm tips!

Layers!
The style itself often consists of layers so adding extra to keep warm won't look out of place. Layering can also be pretty simple if you have a pre-existing Fairy Kei wardrobe. If you don't, some good places to start buying some clothes for layering are: Spreepicky, Himi store, Maniaq and MilkLim.

Boots
Boots will help keep your feet/legs warm and can also look cute with Fairy Kei.

There are also some Gyau brands that have brought out shoes which would look cute with Fairy.

Hiya every bunny, how are you? It's almost time for winter so today's post is all about keeping Kawaii in the winter.

Hat's

This probably seems like an obvious idea on keeping Kawaii in the winter. There are a lot of options for Kawaii hats, including the Kawaiigoods.com hat that you can see above. Click here to see more hats.

Capes

An alternative to jackets. You can still wear a cape over a coat or jumper however they are really cute. You can get ones by famous Kawaii characters such as Totoro or Rilakkuma and Lolita brands have also brought some out. Including Angelic pretty who feature bunny ears and heart shaped pockets on their capes. The world famous eBay is a good place to find capes.

Boots

Boots will be warmer to wear compared to other shoes. Some Lolita brands that supply boots are, An*tai*na, Angelic Pretty and Bodyline. Gyaru brands have also realised boots. If you want an inexpensive option, a pastel pair of high street boots can also work. Bodyline has a few boots under their shoe section.

Coats

Coats are one of the best ways to keep warm in winter. There are countless styles of coats including ones with bunny ears and cat ears. Lolita and Gyaru brands have also brought some out. Click here to see the coats section on Himi'store. Bodyline also has a coat section.

Slippers

For around the house, keep your feet warm by wearing slippers! You can get slippers of many Kawaii slippers including Totoro, Arpakasso's, Rilakkuma, My melody, Hello kitty, Pandas and also anime characters!

To keep your ears warm and to try to not get an ear ache, you can use ear warmers! There are a lot of cute ear warmers to choose from.

Wigs

If you've worn a wig before you will know that your head gets really hot under a wig so why not us this to an advantage! Wearing wigs in winter will not only make your hair look cute but will keep your head warm.

Tights

A warm alternative to over the knee/ thigh high socks. Tights will cover up the whole of your legs. Tattoo tights have recently became really popular with over the knee styled part with sheer over top. Varies characters such as rabbits, bears, Totoro and stars can be seen. You can easily find tights on eBay for under £5.

Long sleeves/ hoodies and jackets
